Instituto Aço Cearense promoted the 5th edition of one of its most beautiful and important campaigns, the Happy Hug. This year, 500 letters were adopted by the employees of the Aço Cearense Group. At Aço Cearense Comercial the delivery of gifts took place on the 3rd and 4th and at Aço Cearense Industrial on the 6th of December. The last events are on the 11th at SINOBRAS and on the 17th at Florestal.
Many interesting stories happened this year, a fact that most called attention was the expressive participation of apprentices, who even at the beginning of their professional and financial trajectory gave a great example of how to help others. Pedro Henrique Martins, MEP Apprentice at Aço Cearense Industrial Filial, was thrilled. “This was the first time that I participated in the project, I adopted a letter and bought the gift, a doll. The value was very accessible to my reality and I did not imagine that the emotion would be so much when I hand it over to that child and see the happiness printed on her face. I was very happy to be able to bring a little joy to those in need for Christmas ”.
Rosemeire Matos, President of Instituto Aço Cearense and Administrative Director of Aço Cearense Industrial, spoke during the event: “Since 2015, when the Abraço Feliz Campaign was created, we have already made 1,900 children smile. Thank you very much, dear collaborators, for your yes once again! And we will make this campaign grow more and more so that more children feel welcomed and loved! ”
