Collaborating athletes sponsored by the Aço Cearense Institute gained prominence in the events that took place in June, showing that it is possible to reconcile sport with work.
Lisandra Dantas, a contributor in the Contracting area of Aço Cearense Industrial Matriz, highlights a phrase that motivates her: “Always remember, your focus determines your reality.” It is with this thought that the employee remains firm in training with the objective to win new podiums. She participated in the II Eusébio Half Marathon held on the 23rd, winning 1st place in the 18 to 29 age group and 4th overall. The contest had 5,000 participants and is already part of the Ceará sports calendar as one of the biggest racing events in the state of Ceará.
Gilberto Silva, a contributor in the Services area of Aço Cearense Comercial and a paraciclista from Ceará, traveled to Diadema, in São Paulo, to participate in the Brazil stage of the Pan American Circuit of Paraciclismo de Estrada that took place from 14 to 16 of this month. The athlete won the 5th place in the time trial. The circuit is one of the main events on the national calendar and has points valid for the national and international ranking. “Thank you to my sponsors and to God for this opportunity to participate in yet another international competition. It is never easy, but I always try to do my best and bring medals to Ceará ”, said the athlete.
