As concerts and events are canceled due to social isolation, many artists are doing shows online and taking the opportunity to raise donations to charities and hospitals.
On Saturday (24th), in the live of the duo Simone and Simaria the Instituto Aço Cearense, from the Aço Cearense Group, donated 1 ton of food.
Rosemeire Matos, President of the Aço Cearense Institute and Administrative Director of Aço Cearense Industrial, commented that it is a joy to be able to do this, to take advantage of the live moment to help those who need it most. “We donate from the heart and with a positive thought that all of this will soon pass,” she said.
In addition to food, the Aço Cearense Institute delivered 400 cleaning kits in the capital of Ceará and in Caucaia, containing shampoo, bleach, soap, toothpaste, disinfectant, detergent and washing powder, important items to keep the house clean and personal hygiene of families promoting the prevention of the new coronavirus.
Next week, Instituto Aço Cearense will deliver another 200 cleaning and hygiene kits in Marabá (PA) and 100 basic food baskets for families in the municipality of São Bento (TO).
